A huge thank you to the volunteers that came out today to clean up the neighborhood. We had a great group that cleaned routes around Joe Cole and then moved half a dump truck load of mulch by recycling bin, wagon, or wheel barrel to tree boxes along West Virginia and Florida Avenues (as well as a few other sites). A special thank you to 405 Yoga, one of our neighborhood businesses, that supported the volunteers with a pizza lunch!
Clean ups are held the second Saturday of each month. Join us next month on June 11th from 10 am to noon. We meet at the Joe Cole Recreation Center. If you are coming to help and would like us to focus on a specific block or area of the neighborhood that is in need of a clean up, please let us know.
